4.10.2023 New Space Currently, there is a popular trend of distinguishing between 'new space' and 'old space'. While it is true that space exploration is a thriving sector with its language, I believe that this trend signifies something more significant - the emergence of a new universe. Although the main operations are still conducted on Earth, the design and implementation of space exploration are gradually moving to space itself. This shift signifies more than a mere linguistic distinction - it represents a new era for humanity, technology, and existence. The possibilities of life beyond our planet, and the exploration and expansion of space, will also require design and implementation to be done in space itself. This is why the concept of 'new space' is more than just a linguistic distinction - it represents a fundamental shift in our understanding of ourselves and the universe we inhabit. It is not my intention to delve into the reasons why we use the term 'new space'. The purpose of this summary is to share ideas and clarify why using terms such as 'n-universe' (new universe) or 'n-space' (new space) here. As a legend, -n-space (new space) specifically refers to all issues related to space, orbit, and interplanetary matters. -Nuniverse (new universe /n-universe) includes all space-related operations that have been attempted on Earth or in space for the benefit of Earth. 18.11.2023 Starship First Test Flights The first two launches of Starship were impressive and taught valuable lessons to SpaceX and the entire space sector. Now, SpaceX is taking its exploration mission to the next level, bringing us one step closer to interplanetary living. This is a significant advancement, surpassing rideshare missions and long-distance transportation on Earth. I am looking forward to the next launches and getting a full view of Starship! Ceyda

13.10.2024 5th Test Flight of Starship - Superheavy What happened during Starship's fifth test flight marks not only a significant milestone for SpaceX but also a step forward for humanity and interplanetary development as a whole. Starship's successful ascent and capture by the integration tower (nicknamed "Mechazilla") signify more than just progress within the industry—they represent a step that SpaceX itself views as not yet fully complete. In this suborbital test flight of Starship, the Super Heavy booster was caught mid-air by Mechazilla's kind of chopsticks,an engineering marvel and a significant first. Examining the broader impacts, SpaceX’s achievement of capturing such a large stage on the integration tower contributes to operational and cost efficiencies within SpaceX's long-term plans. Beyond that, it introduces a fast-response capability that enhances value within SpaceX’s internal processes, as well as for its clients and interplanetary mission sequences. While this is an early step for SpaceX, the model's success could redefine feasibility for the broader launch industry, potentially transforming satellite launches by increasing flight frequency and reducing costs with various rocket types. Although it may take time for other operators to adopt and prove this approach as SpaceX has, these advancements will likely shift global market dynamics and boost engineering value, paving new avenues for interplanetary missions and human exploration. The broader adoption of this model also signals a future with expanded access to space, which in turn supports the development of spaceports, space tourism, and a range of new sectors meeting the growing demand in space access. As I’ve written about other space companies, I want to highlight Blue Origin's contributions, too. This is not just about the latest news but also a permanent part of my blog, providing insight for both new visitors and those looking to dive deeper into the ever-evolving world of space exploration. 🪶 As with all the similar scoped providers and operators, I’ve always viewed these entities not as competitors but as contributors to the larger goal of advancing space exploration, access to space, and human spaceflight. Every update, every breakthrough, is a step forward for humanity and the exploration of the universe. Blue Origin holds a special place in this context, not just as a space giant, but for its multifaceted approach—from rocket science and engines to ambitious projects like OTVs and lunar missions. Whether it’s New Glenn, New Shepard, Blue Moon, or Blue Ring, Blue Origin is involved in a range of projects that are expanding the possibilities for space travel.🌌 Despite the breadth of its projects, Blue Origin has managed to maintain its own identity, consistently represented by the "Blue" in its name and its unwavering focus on its core mission. The ability to launch larger payloads and accommodate more frequent missions is critical. This is why Blue Origin’s commitment to reusable giant rockets is more game-changer for us. The impact on cost-effectiveness, reliability, and launch frequency would be immense, enabling us to plan and execute more missions while reducing overall costs. 19.01.2025 Some words to RL🚀 Rocket Lab, of course, holds a special place in my network. This is not only because of their successful launches but also due to their incredibly chill, cool, and at the same time warmly professional approach across all teams I’ve interacted with—from commercial management to technical operations. As much as I never like comparisons between companies—something I always regret doing—I truly respect and value each one for what they bring to the table. Whether it’s a company with years of successful launches, an industry pioneer, one embarking on its maiden launches, or preparing rockets for upcoming missions, all are valuable contributors to this incredible sector. Still, I cannot overlook the fact that Rocket Lab’s teams—whether they’re in New Zealand, the US,or working remotely from somewhere else—consistently demonstrate an approachable, warm, and friendly demeanor. At the same time, they never compromise their professionalism, striking a perfect balance. Over the years, I’ve never experienced a moment where this wasn’t true, which makes me think this is more than just a coincidence; it’s a hallmark of their company culture. Of course, this is my personal perspective, but it’s one grounded in real experiences that I’ve genuinely wanted to share. While their unique company culture is my favorite aspect, Rocket Lab also stands out for its technical achievements. They have maintained their leadership in the microlauncher sector, creating a success story synonymous with the term “dedicated microlauncher.” What excites me most these days, however, is their work on hypersonic launches. Since my aerospace engineering graduation project, I’ve been fascinated by hypersonic speeds and rockets—a combination that fuels my excitement. The HASTE mission, while currently defense-focused, showcases Rocket Lab’s innovative capabilities in this area. I look forward to seeing more commercial applications of hypersonic technologies and hope to see, send satellites and be involved in any related missions in the future! In addition, the Neutron rocket has also captured all attentions. Its innovative design, targeting reusable fairing-free launches, is nothing short of fascinating. I’m confident that I’m not the only enthusiast eagerly awaiting Neutron’s debut—it’s an exciting and well-designed rocket with incredible potential! Despite these technical highlights, I believe Rocket Lab’s greatest strength lies in its internal culture. Drawing from my education in executive management at institutions like Oxford and Harvard, as well as my industry experience, I’d say that their combination of genuine warmth and professionalism is the secret to their success. It’s a rare and effective approach that I believe will continue to drive their achievements both internally and within the broader sector. As a customer and colleague view, a dedicated launch enthusiast, and an external observer of the industry, I can say with confidence that Rocket Lab has something truly special. This is my honest, external analysis, based on my experiences and observations. But honestly—doesn’t the ability to inspire such trust and admiration already prove just how exceptional they are? 18.03.2025 RL has More Flattenite & The Bold Venus Mission! Rocket Lab is once again making headlines with its groundbreaking advancements in space technology. Among its latest developments is Flattenite, a novel satellite design approach that has sparked both enthusiasm and debate within the sector. While some compare it to methods used by other successful operators, I see it as a strategic move rather than mere imitation. Flattenite enhances the Neutron rocket's structural adaptability, enabling greater efficiency in payload integration and deployment. Beyond its technical advantages, this innovation introduces a fresh industry terminology that could shape how future satellite operators conceptualize their designs. I can easily imagine future press releases announcing, “We have decided to produce a Flattenite!”—a testament to its potential industry-wide adoption. "Flattenite’s innovative design allows for optimized payload stacking within the Neutron rocket, ensuring higher launch efficiency and flexibility in multi-satellite missions." Beyond satellite advancements, Rocket Lab is also set to redefine commercial space exploration with its first-ever private mission to Venus. This bold endeavor marks a significant milestone, as commercial entities increasingly step into deep-space exploration, a domain historically dominated by governments and space agencies. I strongly support these initiatives—not only because they push technological boundaries but also because they serve as a source of inspiration for young engineers, emerging investors, and the entire Nuniverse sector.
